Welcome to SBCC Men’s Golf
The men's golf program at Santa Barbara City College has a long history of success. Most of the local club professionals were once players on the Vaquero golf team, which competes in the competitive Western State Conference.
Men's golf offers a unique opportunity for the student-athlete. Team members get to play and practice at several year-round courses, including home course Rancho San Marcos (see photo gallery).
In addition, team members have the opportunity to compete on many of the top courses in Southern California.
The college is located in one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. The campus is about a 3-wood away from the Pacific Ocean and has a rich tradition of academics and athletics. With more than 17,000 students, SBCC offers a challenging academic climate with a direct transfer program to UCSB. The 2006 SBCC men's team took second in the state. If you are a serious golfer who seeks a quality education, you should consider SBCC men’s golf.
