Welcome to SBCC Women's Golf, home of the 2006 California State ChampionsAfter capturing its third straight Western State Conference title two years ago and cruising to the school's first state title in women's golf, SBCC went 35-5 in the WSC in 2007 and finished runner-up in the state. In 2006, the Vaqueros beat WSC rival Canyons by 60 strokes in the 36-hole final at Fresno. Natalie Todd was the WSC MVP in 2007 and the individual State Champion in 2006, edging teammate and two-time WSC player of the year Victoria Alimonda by one stroke.
The Women's Golf program offers a unique opportunity for the student-athlete. Team members get to play and practice at several year-round golf courses including SBCC's home course Rancho San Marcos. In addition, the team members have the opportunity to compete at many of the top courses in Southern California.
The college is located in one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. The campus sits across from the Pacific Ocean and prides itself with a rich tradition of academics and athletics. More than 17,000 students are enrolled at SBCC, where you'll find a challenging academic climate and a direct transfer program to UCSB.
